Pinger Attack

Unlocked after reaching Level 20

Ping!

Mini-Pinger

W Mini-Pinger Icon
Mini-Pinger
Upon hitting the ground, Mini-Pinger will send 3 yellow projectiles straight up into the air with a random angle. They will travel beyond the top of the map, before returning down to the ground. The projectiles are affected by wind. Because they travel a long distance even small winds may influence them. One thing to note is that if the projectiles are unable to make it past the top of the screen before hitting the ground, they will do nothing upon impact. This will happen if the initial shot lands underneath a bumper.

Tips & Trivia

  • Due to how unreliable it is, pinger is often used in many ingame jokes and memes along with guppies and counter-X. Later on it becomes more powerful, but it's always random and unreliable.
  • Pinger projectiles returning down at weird angles after reaching the top of the screen.

The projectiles spawned by this weapon seem to keep their horizontal velocity even after reaching the top of the screen. This can cause the projectiles to return back down at weird angles if the initial projectile hit an obstacle at just the right angle.
